Description
This LDS primary activity days for kdis spreadsheet help you plan and organize your activities group. The process is fun and fast:
1. Ask the children what types of goals they have and record the goals in the appropriate focus area categories
2. Combine all goals in the “Compiled goals” tab
3. Plan activities around helping the children achieve their goals where possible
4. Schedule the activities. The checkboxes (physical, spiritual, social, intellectual) help you stay reminded to keep a balanced variety of activities
This process is so much more fun and easy than having to come up with an idea every time an activity is coming up. It relieves the pressure. It also helps you be more effective while running activity days/Primary activities.
There are options to keep track of who attends each time, in case you want to look back and notice who needs extra help getting there. Sometimes you may find you didn’t realize a particular child had missed so often. Other times, you may be pleasantly surprised that a certain child attended more than you expected or remembered!
It’s also helpful to look back at the schedule and attendance and see which types of activities helped kids attend more.
Most importantly, I hope this spreadsheet helps you feel on top of things and calm! It helped me a lot when I created it, and it helped others when I shared it with newly called leaders.
This tracker is great for an activity leader, Primary Secretary or presidency. Easy printable–just download and print the PDF or use the Excel file to do everything in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. You even could include these sheets in an LDS primary activity days folder for newly called leaders or to give existing leaders a new boost!
If you’d like a custom tracker, let us know and we’ll work something up for you.
